Ailments are both administered and healed by BotB Admins. They are moderation actions, used to protect the community from spambots, misbehaving BotBrs, and general dick-headery. Below is a list of various ailments, along with typical conditions they are assigned for.
Scrub
A basic grounding! A scrub cannot edit the lyceum, bump threads, or tag entries. Additionally, their influence performs at one-tenth of the BotBr's actual
voting strength. Normally assigned to those who commit scrublike behavior; see
Scrub. Entries that attract scrub ailments are often referred to as "ailmentcore" for this reason.
Parasite
A parasite cannot host. Usually assigned to users who break the hosting rules.
Troll
A troll has voting privileges revoked. Assigned to people that troll-vote, vote double, and/or vote on their own entries using alternate accounts (a BotBr is only allowed to vote once per-entry).
Zombi
A Zombi is muted and cannot post communications. Assigned to those who are disruptive or are hurting the site's atmosphere through communication. A zombi also cannot donload entries or their renders.
Mummi
All wrapped up and totally crippled. Assigned to serious trolls and spambots.
Those we don't speak of...
As of 2022-05-17, some seem to have turned unphysical. Those who have asked for their disappearance, and brought their work with them. Those who have gone missing because most of their work was too violating of, not just rules, but also the site's legal terms. Those who are just better off being forgotten. But still, relics in the form of a phantom-presence of them or their works, though still leading you back to where you came from, can be seen and remind you that they once were there.
