BeRoTracker is a module tracker developed by Benjamin Rosseaux. This tracker has its native file type, which is a .brt file.
Capabilities
This tracker is similar to ModPlug Tracker, where it can open DOS modules and also "all known" module files.
Quick set up
BeRoTracker is a compatible tracker! BeRoTracker has 2 versions: BeRoTrackerImpulse, which has a similar interface to Impulse Tracker/Schism Tracker, and BeRoTrackerClassic, which has a similar interface to ModPlug Tracker.

Configuration
BeRoTrackerImpulse
If you want to download BeRoTracker with Impulse interface, go to /downloads/BeRoTrackerImpulse. Download the BeRoTrackerImpulse.exe file to your drive. Downloading the other files is not required. We recommend making a folder of it. Once it's ready, double-click the .exe file. Other "hidden files" will appear.
BeroTrackerImpulse will take you to the settings tab for the first visit, with Shift-F5 as a shortcut. After the second visit and afterward, it would take you to Open Files like in Schism does. The settings are divided by category which is Sound, MIDI Input, MIDI Import, Keyboard, Files, and Screen.
- Sound setting will be 44100Hz, 16-bit sample, stereo channels, and resampling (interpolation) as Polyphase (Sinc+Low-Pass in later ModPlug) by default.
- MIDI Input is where you set your MIDI device.
- MIDI Import has a similar setting as MIDI file import - where it has rows per beat and pattern rows.
- Keyboard settings can be set as QWERTY, QWERTZ, or AZERTY.
- Files setting can be set to Save Dir Cache (off by default) and Scan ZIP Archive (on by default).
- Screen setting to set the resolution screen. It's like MilkyTracker does - except Bero has no custom resolution and doesn't need to restart.
If you're changing either of these settings, click the "Apply Now" button to save it! Alternatively, you can click the "Save Settings Now" button to save all settings universally.
BeRoTrackerClassic
Go to /downloads/BeRoTrackerClassic and do the same thing as the previous procedure. With exceptions, setup.exe should also be downloaded.
Composing
BeRoTrackerImpulse shares the same effect commands as the Impulse Tracker command. Meanwhile, BeRoTrackerClassic can be set to other effect commands, regardless of the file type. For example, using XM/MOD effect commands in the S3M/IT file and vice versa.
Expert Tricks
BeRoTrackerImpulse
If you have an error message like "The directory reader thread couldn't suspended, please try again!", try restarting the program (close and open it again).
BeRoTrackerClassic
Try double-clicking if it's not opening.

BeroTinyPlayer
A module player developed by the same person. Hence its name, this player is so tiny with only 1 button, which is an Open file, and a textbox of the song title (if applicable). Keep in mind that this program has no play, pause, or stop button; it has no playlist either. Played in a loop with polyphase interpolation.
mod2wav
A module converter. Click the "Add file(s)" button to add a file and click the "Start" button to convert. It can be also converted per channel, per instrument, or sample. By default, the file will be rendered in Polyphase resampling.
mod2exe
A combination between module converter and player, literally. So this program will convert your module to .EXE, really. But don't worry, it is not a virus. All you have to do is import your module file to this program. You can change the interpolation and add text. Click the Create button.
Once it's done, you can click the exe file, and it will play your module file. (Fun fact: the finished module converted exe file also extracts MOD2EXE.)
