There are many different Versions out since 1990. DMC 7 (one of the latest 1995) is very similar to version 2..4. Version 5 is a complete another editor system with some special features, but not so comfortable to use like it's predecessor. All original program code is by Brian/Graffity. '[t[b1]Features:'[/t] It has a nice user-friendly based editor and you could control your music to the way you wanted it simple. DMC can control all params of SID with integrated sound editor. You can define ADSR, wavetable, pulsewidth, filtersets, vibro etc., edit sequences for tracks, use commands in tracks, store multisongs, define song speed, save and load music to/from disk. The editor seems similar to native tracker systems, but it isn't. The playroutine can be controlled by DUR commands in tracks, so it's possible to run all 3 channels unsync and in different Duration. '[t[b1]Using:'[/t] You can use it on original device (via transfer cable (XE-, XM-, XA-, X-Cable) to LPT Port of PC) or you use an emulator (VICE). If you work on original device you have to copy the packed and relocated data file from disk to PC and convert it with SIDEdit to a SID file. '[t[b1]Notice:'[/t] SID music data is nothing else as ASM Code. So mostly the data and the player will be saved in SID tune on a specific adress. Often it will be saved to $1000. You need this info if you want to use you tunes for developing games or you want to convert it with SIDEdit. '[t[b1]Tutorial:'[/t] '[l[http://www.redesign.sk/tnd64/mscene.htm[Music Scene]
