this makes me realize i'm actually pretty low on goals! my biggest ones are really close to attainment actually:
1) reach 2nd place in points (only 4k off from passing strobe rn)
2) have the most major medals (afaik strobe also has the most and i only need to fill one more row to pass him)

i don't think i have any more specific goals other than to keep hosting and to keep participating, whatever pace that ends up being

Admittedly, I joined this site a little sporadically for YEA VIDEOGAME after being aware of it for awhile. I have a lot of music goals, and especially compositions, I want to get done by the end of the summer separate from BotB, but reflecting on it a little more I think my main tasks are clear:

- Get musical ideas from my brain to be something audible faster
- Become more familiar with other methods of composition
- Polish music formats I'm already familiar with

I think I've gotten a taste of all 3 of these in some minor ways just from my first battle, but I think there's a lot more on the horizon for me in terms of unlocking new abilities on these fronts, and I think most of them will go towards helping me in endeavors both in and outside of BotB.

Well they're not goals that I'll finish this year, but goals I want to keep having every day on BotB: Learning how to make good music fast, and using that knowledge as a way to learn how to make excellent music by myself locked in my room letting the hours pass by without hitting a creative wall.
I also like songs that tell a story, so I might try to learn how to write lyrics.
