Moved to a new place recently. It's so much better than the previous one! My window faces the sunrise. The kitchen was built in a way that makes it easier to cook. And the forest park I visit since childhood is closer to me than ever.

I have my second child due in August, and today my 19 month old daughter patted my wife's bump after she said 'baby', first recognition from her that something is actually happening

getting ailments again makes me feel alive! \o/ (kidding!!!! xD )

i passd a class with much higher grades than i thought i wld get!!! i thought i wld barely pass but i got a 93% !!! this calls for a huge party with 11 jumbo bottles o tapatío. everyone is invited

my girl friend is soon to acquire the way to travel WHENEVER. this is cool. she will be able to come to my home and hug me more often and i like this. 10/10 all women should have machines of great displacement

This has been an astoundingly difficult year in ways that even just typing out would cause me to cry (oops I'm doing it anyway), but through the hardships which I was able to be candid about I have found that I have people who love me and care about my wellbeing. I'm excited to be close to releasing new albums, one of the games I did music for is coming out soon, have made a lot of progress in my hobbies (inline skate, target shoot), and I know eventually I'll be myself again.. I hate have strong opinions about my job, but I can leave some day and I have Survival from it today. I don't have to wonder if a trip to the doctor will ruin me financially for the first time in 9 years.

It's very hard to feel good most days but I'm trying to learn to use the optimism I provide to others for myself and I know that me right now feels a lot happier than me two months ago.

i have been struggling a lot 2023, probably the worst year of my life in terms of mental health, but i have a partner now for the first time in my life and she has been a beacon of light in an otherwise dark year. we both love each other very much and it has been nothing but an incredible experience so far for the both of us. it is honestly pretty astounding how perfect we are for each other; i'm hoping it works out long term for us

I recently met with and reconnected with one of my best friends who I hadn't talked to in years. We were originally a group of 5 friends, but that's too depressing to talk about. Anyway, it's so relieving to finally talk with someone who knows me so well, and our humor just flows so naturally off one another. We had a great time, and I plan on hanging out a lot more. Struggling with trade school, college, and work simultaneously had made me very on edge about my future, but now I feel like I can make it. I'm not alone anymore, and together we've been helping each other up. It makes me very happy, and hopeful for the future.

ok i'll bite, budding relationship with someone where neither of us speak each others' native languages so we both have to use japanese, which both of us are ....uhhh.... fluent enough in.......

Something as simple as watching the second season of K-ON!!, 13 years after its release and almost 5 years after I watched season 1. Why it took me so long? Idk, but it's virtually impossible that Houkago Tea Time doesn't make you happy.

it smells like winter, which means MORE SEASONAL FOOD is available at the markets, MORE CRISP AIR moves around and makes me feel absolutely PEAK PERFORMANCE, and also i can go outside with TEN LAYERS of COMFY HOODIES on and not be criticised no more for it :D

typically around September I kinda get more miserable, I blame it on school, and how miserably cold and dark it gets. Though some stuff has been keeping me happy recently.

starting doing some acting stuff recently, made me swallow my pride but i've been enjoying it. music and OHBs always keep me going too. really i think this time of year i kinda have to appreciate what i have otherwise ill just become miserable, still FUCK school taking all my freetime though.
