a friend and me have a silly competition going to visit more countries than the other.

so why not extend this and make it a BATTLE thread, wow.

it only counts if you actually stepped on land (flying over it is not "visiting") and if its an official country.,,

i start: currently 11 (january 2023)

two lol. US and England. should be three (Japan), but every time i've made plans to go there they've fallen through thus far. maybe next time!

really hoping to see more/most of Europe the next time i go over there, though. just have no specific plans to do so yet

Another friend of mine invited me to meet our online circle in the UK this year.

But I can't right now, so I won't.

Two that I remember, technically three. US, Iceland, and when I was teeny tiny, we supposedly stepped across the border into México while visiting Arizona.

Like Dami, hope to make it four with a trip to Japan. It's the destination for the honeymoon that my SO and I have yet to take, two years later. Plans keep falling through.

2, US and Mexico. Work has provided me an opportunity to travel to Ireland this year and I'm really excited about that so I might double my count if I get to Ireland + UK while over there

10 so far but i dont see it expanding much. In chronological order:

Done some stopovers at Switzerland and Qatar but I'm not counting those.

I was born in the USA, only visited Mexico 2 times amounting to 3 weeks of my life to visit my family there.

- galicia (nortwest of "spain" - vigo only for now)
- castille (center of "spain" - madrid and salamanca)
(soon i hope visiting the other two "spanish" countries as well: euskal herria (gora euskadi! \o/) and catalunya (including valencia and balears) - and andorra as well!)
- italy (north only - milano, padova, venezia...)
- france (only charles de gaulle airport! xD - well, i spent a whole day there because a strike! xD )
- algeria (only alger, perhaps the coolest city i visited ever)
- cape verde (this one i'm not sure, i was too young! xD )
