I think we should implement both MSX and GXSCC as formats. They are both significant to chiptune but for very different reasons.

I'm for GXSCC being a format; I don't think we need a dedicated major for it though. Maybe it could be in the next Spring Tracks or something. (Not Winter or Summer Chip though, as those are for... well, chip formats.)

I couldn't see this being a major, but for a format it's a fantastic idea. At least there will be people who would utilize it well instead of the usual "LET'S SLAP MIDIS IN THIS SHIT AND CALL IT A DAY!!!1!11 XDDD".

JIR-0: Yeah, I definitely agree here. I think that GXSCC has a lot of potential if people write music for it with the actual GXSCC sounds in mind, instead of simply converting a midi lol
