YEA VIDEOGAME is an ongoing weekly remix XHB series hosted by damifortune. First hosted on October 9th, 2020, YEA VIDEOGAME is the longest running regularly scheduled series, as well as the second longest running active series on the site. It is also considered, alongside with the BotB Advent Calendar, one of the most influential XHB series's, being one of the only ones to be spun off into a major battle.

The premise proposed is simple. Each installment, a new bitpack is uploaded: this bitpack contains samples from a Super Nintendo Entertainment System game, alongside the YEA VIDEOGAME manifesto. The participant is given an hour to compose the best piece they can with this selection of samples before submitting. It is similar in concept to Sample Pack Contest, a seperate competition.

Re-runs
At sporadic times, a YVG bitpack is chosen to be re-ran. This may occur because the samples in the pack prove to be popular with the entrants, such as #5's (Super Mario Kart) or #11's (Mega Man X).

Native Mode
Native Mode refers to a spinoff of battles hosted during a set period. These are referred to as such due to them being hosted as spc battles, returning the samples to their intended hardware.
