Decadent Decade is a special kind of
battle series on
BotB, where the idea is to create covers of previously submitted entries. This is basically the only instance when it is illegal to submit originals to a battle and specifically allowed to submit covers. The battle only happens after every complete decade of BotB's existence. This was 2015 for the first one and 2025 for the second one.
A special numberbox for putting in the original entry id on the submission form makes sure, the cover is correctly linked to its original entry.
Almost all formats are available for these battles, making room for a wide variety of submitted content. The entry period is also known to be one of the longest for battles, which is almost the entire year.
