How did you originally come to Battle of the Bits, and what was your first ever time in a BotB compo like?

how would you compare your first piece of music on BotB to your first piece of music ever made (assuming the guest did make music before joining BotB regardless of the music's type)

I'm tempted to answer some of these myself despite not being interested in being interviewed at the moment. I'm writing down my answers in a text document.
