BotB Advent Calendar 2024 - Format Suggestions Period

Hello and welcome everyone!

It is time again already - we have September, which means you now have a month to suggest formats you wld like to see in this years Advent Calendar event! Please use this list of formats as a reference: https://battleofthebits.com/arena/Formats

For all the n00bz around, here's a quick summary of what is going on:
From Dec 1st to Dec 24th, we will have daily battles featuring one format and bitpack. You have this day to make an entry and submit it. On the next day, a different format+bitpack will show up.
You can check out the previous event for more information!
You will not know which format or bitpack is next (surprise, surprise whoooo~)

damifortune and me will plan and host the event together again like last time. :D

After we collected format suggestions in September, we will move on to ask for bitpacks and theme ideas in October and then prepare the schedule in November.

can we suggest multiple formats?

you may! but you also might get more likes if you posted only one. maybe! we do look at peoples' responses as a factor. but definitely feel free

we throw all suggestions in a big black box, throw it into the ocean, wait a few weeks and then tell an octopus to get it back to us.
then we ask a koala to eat all the untasty suggestions, add some syrup to the remaining ones and then use these to create a schedule

responding to DefenseMechanism's posts, I would also love to see a Renoise battle!

I feel vocal would be extremely fitting for such an event. 'Tis the season for caroling, after all!

( vocal battles in majors are terrible for completionists that hates singing! xD )

Who said you had to sing for it to be vocal? You could always use your voice to scream and/or create ambient noise in the background of your track, or something similar 😉
