you got your avatar by cutting one frame out of a gif, right? i ask because i've tried to do that before and it produced the exact same 'bumpy' visual effect. i did eventually figure out how to extract a frame without damaging it, but i've since forgotten the way.

if i remember, i'll let you know.

No... I converted a .png of one of my characters to a .gif using ms paint.
I dont need to fix it, I like it the way it is :)
