It occurs to me that no one has posted about this this year.
Who is going to Magnet Festival (I assume this is the full name of "magfest") next weekend???

As it happens... Sloopygoop and I will be going because we are performing during the Virtua94 showcase on friday night at the:

"Chipspace Stage"
11pm Friday is the time.

That's the only way to be SURE we'll cross paths... unless of course a BotB "meet up" of sorts were to occur. So, hey... if any of us are going, we should all Say Hello at some point. (though again... 11pm - 12:30am is a surefire way to see TWO BotBrs for the price of one)

Hey, Bubblegum! I'm gonna be performing at Chipspace on Friday too! My set's around 7 pm. I'll have to try and stick around.

EDIT: Got stranded due to weather. Probably gonna still play my set remotely though.

this was so awesome, i got to meet (and/or see again) so many people i know and love and i saw so much cool chiptune live! inspiring stuff, i'd definitely like to go again next year and maybe even have something planned out to do live then

@Sloopygoop we didn't get to meet but i loved your set!! i was in the front!

chipspace was raw this year, everyone i saw on that stage really pulled out all the stops. i think i followed like 10 people's soundclouds the first day. good show

I wish I had seen this thread before it was all over, but-- it was a really fun time!! (My first one, too!)

@zipdisq The weather was not ideal even for my 145 miles of travel so I'm sorry it kept you away. I respect the effort you put into trying to bless everyone with your magic music! J'ai de grands espoirs pour l'avenir, as I suppose they say in Montreal!

@sloopygoop thanks for saying my music is magic! i'll probably just plonk some money down on plane tickets the next time lol. it may be more expensive but it beats trying to drive 13 hours through potentially life-threatening weather.
