there are a few teens hanging out here! and notably some of the now-senior botbrs were your age or younger when they joined

that said i do think the average botbr age skews more towards mid to late 20s. and i'll be 31 soon. haha. but the diversity of age range is good i think! i like that botb can serve so wide a userbase.

tangent: the reason why so many teens (particularly 12 to 16yo's) go 2 botb is bc it gives them some sort of escape. a community where they can contribute anything, be it music, art, programming, whatever, and feel like an equivalent with all these people doing the same thing. it gives them proper peerage, something that most education systems certainly doesn't -- thus, making them feel more "grown up" in a sense

I created my profile in 2014-02-27 which means I was 15 years old at the time. I'm 23 now, but there have been fairly young people on this site.
Anyone of any age can make music and this site is a wonderful place to train your craft. The progress I've heard some people make here is astounding.
