Is anyone on this site younger than me?

I’m 17. Is anyone here younger than me and chippin away? Just a curious question (very important I know LOL)

there are a few teens hanging out here! and notably some of the now-senior botbrs were your age or younger when they joined

that said i do think the average botbr age skews more towards mid to late 20s. and i'll be 31 soon. haha. but the diversity of age range is good i think! i like that botb can serve so wide a userbase.

i can name a few people younger than 17 and being active on botb for sure.
i can also name a few people who came here with like 14/15, even tho they are older now.

tangent: the reason why so many teens (particularly 12 to 16yo's) go 2 botb is bc it gives them some sort of escape. a community where they can contribute anything, be it music, art, programming, whatever, and feel like an equivalent with all these people doing the same thing. it gives them proper peerage, something that most education systems certainly doesn't -- thus, making them feel more "grown up" in a sense

now that my tangent is over: i'm 20 but i joined at 16-ish? 15 maybe?

Reading some of these replies I kinda wish I had joined earlier. I probably could have used community like this being the socially outcast 15yo I was.

I created my profile in 2014-02-27 which means I was 15 years old at the time. I'm 23 now, but there have been fairly young people on this site.
Anyone of any age can make music and this site is a wonderful place to train your craft. The progress I've heard some people make here is astounding.

while i'm 20 now, i created my first account here back in 2016 (if you can figure its name, congrats you get a cookie), when i was 14. uploaded some choonz, but sadly social anxiety and lost motivation got the better of me. nowadays i submit here every now and again and am much more active and confident about my music

i joined at age 12 when i was edgy and insufferable. thankfully everyone here was very chill and i have a lot of good memories from back then. probably the one place i visited regularly at the time where i didn't permanently tarnish my image, thanks guys.

I joined last year right around the time I turned 20. Younger peeps getting into chiptune will keep the genre alive for years to come while the ancient gods regale us with tales of having to buy separate sound cards to play decent music on PC
