The Fairchild Channel F was a video game console released in 1976, and was the first home console to use rom based cartridges. The (only?) tool for creating music is '[[Sleizsa], which was developed by BotB's own '[l[http://battleofthebits.com/barracks/Profile/b00daw/[b00daw]. Sleizsa is an mml-like compiler which has one channel of sound. It uses '[l[http://www.mess.org/[MESS] to emulate the hardware. Protip: To record sound directly from MESS, add "-wavwrite filename.wav" to the command line that initiates MESS.
