NEXXT is an image editor for accurate, compatible
NES/Famicom graphics which can be downloaded for free
here. A popular choice for NES homebrewers, it is based off of an older tool by Shiru named NESST (NES Screen Tool).
Restrictions on submit
Submission should take the form of an .nss file, "NES Screen Tool Session", containing your graphics.
Viewing (for voting)
Simply
download NEXXT and open the .nss file to check out the entry.
To render an entry, press F12 to save as .png.
Note that some entries that require bank switching will require setting custom tileswitch. This can be configured (as of v3.7.2) by going to Window --> More --> Custom tileswitch (Shift+Ctrl+F10). If you understand how the checkboxes work, please edit this and explain it better :)
