VGM (Video Game Music) is a sample-accurate sound logging format for several video game systems.
Tools
There are a lot of different tools capable of exporting .vgm, each supporting a different set of sound chips/systems. Examples include (but are not limited to):

VGMPlay supports logging sound to wav. You can simply convert it to .mp3 afterwards with a tool of your choice.
