Doom is a '[[BotB] major '[[battle] that occurs on a random basis. It is very different from a normal major, as it involves submitting maps for the classic computer game '[l[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doom_(1993_video_game)[Doom] instead of music. Entries are submitted in '[[doom (format)[Doom format] and award '[[Mappist (class)[Mappist] points.
