I do! it used to play a bigger part in how I wrote, wanting to making shapes and colors interact better, but over time the reaction to sound has become less colors and more shape based so that's the bigger factor. And truth to be told this usually only affects sound design.
The bigger thing it can be helpful for is noticing when things don't "look" the same that should. Today I was mixing something and one of my vocal takes "looked" different than the others. Obviously it also literally sounded different, but sometimes I'll see discrepancies in an obvious way before I hear them in an obvious way.
Having this and also somewhat debilitating OCD (getting better though!) combine forces with whatever my artistic goals are make me do some really obnoxious shit while sequencing more intricate, glitchy breaks and the like... for better and for worse.
I can't say what my favorite thing to hear is, (though plucked sounding synths with delay and spaciously reverbed synth bells are usually quite pleasant) but a thing I hate extra because of synesthesia is sounds like squeaky car brakes. It's like this gigantic, sharp obelisk of brilliant light or a long, off-white, infinite line lookin piece of shit that I just have to deal with seeing while also being harmed by the sound.
