Just started a little voxel'ish display thingie, it's a virtual 128x128x64 sized screen, which then gets software rendered as loads of cubes. :o

well... a word i just invented because i couldn't remember how to name that.

Its a landscape... but looks from another plane... so... planescape.

I think i'm even more confused now XD

imagine you get the ability to teleport to another plane of existence. At that place everything is different from this plane. There is no matter and what your perceive with your senses is a totally different kind of information than in this plane of reality.

Then, somehow, you can get a landscape... a beautiful place that you are able to process into your brain still not adjusted that experience.

that's a planescape.

I wanted to call it planscape, but then it would be confused with the black island games.

Reflective water would be a bit on the hard side currently... especially considering the virtual display is in indexed colour mode ^^
Aaaaand... there was cubes long before minecraft! *giggles*

This is exactly what VoxelStorm is gonna look like except it's gonna be stripped of white and just be noise colours
