Feature Request: Veteran

In a nutshell, if you stay on BotB for at least 1 year, You get it automatically.

You get *what* exactly? A badge?

I feel like that would overlap with Mighty/Ascended, and I prefer those two as they reward active participation, not just account age.

creating an account is not really an achievement. we have burfdays to celebrate peoples account creations.
creating an account and staying inactive is definitely less reward-worthy than actively participating and levelling up.

kleeder: and to add to that, it's fun to see who can get to a certain level milestone in the shortest amount of time, like the level 30/31+ club tables in the botbr lyceum page!

i like the idea of a veteran badge, but clearly just rewarding old accounts with no activity makes no sense, there should be conditions like having been active for 80% of the site's lifetime

people who have been active for at least 5-10 years?
or possibly if you submit at least a certain number of emtries...say, 500-1000

yes man considering the site is old enough to buy liquor it would have to be at least like 10 years

Maybe if it were a combination of age on the site, and playa points?
1000 playa points + 10 years, perhaps you gotta be at least mighty too?

I'm not exactly against it, but it does feel potentially redundant, when the mighty and ascended badges do as much to declare you a battle veteran.

>veteran
>1 year
𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙮??

Burfdays are more than sufficient methinks

ok honestly speaking i think u shld only get veteran once u hit level 33

agree w mioh, there are no veterans here yet, only noobs

all n00bs!!!

veteran badge more like virgin badge lol

i'm saving it for someone special, OK??

I thought you might've been onto something until i saw that you thought it should be awarded after just one year

The only veterans imo are the people who participated in person at the ann arbor compos

I'm still pretty new here

If you stay on botb for 10 years you get an oatmeal raisin cookie.

will that effect my taxes?

It's always like some of you guys that crack up the WACKIEST jokes in this zone

Personally don't see the point in something like this
