Right now, when downloading a song from the site it just spits the information into the Track Title field like:
BotB 37225 meanings - cool and cool and cool and cool.ahx.mp3

but maybe it could separate the lil pieces to be like:
Album: BotB 37225
Artist: meanings
Track Title: cool and cool and cool and cool.ahx

im very stupid and don't really know how this site or any site works. idk if its hard to implement, but it would be nice to have the mp3 metadata already filled out when u download a song.

this would be really cool. would be nice to see title, author, album (name of xhb/major battle), entry format, entry url/id, upload date, maybe even tags or including the cover art if the entry is part of a major battle.

it might be possible to add the id3 tags whenever there's a mp3 donload request on the fly instead of adding them to the whole library of entries. this has the added benefit of being able to have the tags changed whenever any entry metadata is changed.

maybe i'm not understanding something, but when would entry metadata change without the mp3 file being changed as well?

yes, i'd have to maintain a file mirror cache or something to keep the original files immutable. i really love it when i back up the site and see those old file dates ;D
