Currently the site does not show a download link for the master file, even though I uploaded the file last night and it shows up when I'm logged in as event admin.

Edit: There's now an option to download, I had to turn on "show full schedule" as admin. Click your name on the site to get your seed file.

Also, since the event has now begun and full participants are locked in, a kind reminder that if you want to participate but don't want the commitment of a full participant, you can sign up as an alternate and only contribute on days when someone has skipped! Crap, I forgot about the whole "march 17th" thing and so I missed round 1 yesterday, would it be possible for me to make up for that somehow, like I can work on 2 songs today or something like that

I had time, I just forgot lol. At least I can participate in this round though, how long should the part you add on to the song be? There doesn't seem to be any mention of that in the rules

There are no upper/lower limits. Your contribution can be anything from a single note to twenty fresh patterns.

Don't sweat it, just throw the energy you've got saved up at whatever shows up in your inbox each day. Unfortunately it's too late to submit for yesterday's seed files, because the people who would have gotten them from you have probably already started on their tracks for today.

Missing a day or three isn't really a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

April 1st is the starting date of Monsquaz Swap 10. The Famiswap has already started and went on for a few rounds.

that's the start date for Monsquaz. You could literally sign up as a fill in for Famiswap right this second if you wanted, and in fact i'd encourage it

Famiswap is nearing its end. I cannot wait until I get to hear all the awesome songs soon in their entirety.

I'm (only) slightly sceptical about the extra "cleanup round" which poses a risk of original authors starting to remove entire patterns of the final versions of their songs due to "ugh this sounds like crap I don't want this in my song" -style of apporach. I hope we won't see too many cases of content mass deletion.

I have records of all the songs as they are before they returned to their original creators so if anyone removes too much we can just put it back in, in the FINAL final cleanup phase before it's officially released

I've admittedly been removing frames here and there, but only in cases where a boring pattern was copied like four times, stretching it out long enough to break the overall flow of the song

To clarify, by FINAL final, I mean going through songs that were either skipped in round 14, or worked on by someone who doesn't know proper mixing techniques. No composition will be done in that phase, only volume adjustments and pitch correction (where necessary).

Wait, am I mistaken here? I thought the cleanup round STARTED one week ago. At least I got my own file back 30th of March according to the download date (and I'm done clean-upping)

I and a few others are currently doing Monsquaz Swap.

Three consecutive weeks of daily composing is a bit of a mind-fryer.

I haven't finished polishing my song and neither have five others.

I am not going to end the event until we have at least ten submitted songs, or we hit April 20th, whichever comes first.
