1. COLLECTING SOUNDS / VOTE SOUNDS
First, you need to upload/vote a sound that you would like to be in the competition. You most vote 1 to 7 in the sample
ALL SOUND SUBMISSIONS MUST BE PUBLIC DOMAIN, in the form of an MP3 500kb in size or smaller. Only submissions with 10 votes or more are eligible.
2. COMPOSE/REMIXING TIME
When the countdown of *COLLECTING SOUNDS / VOTE SOUNDS* end, will be time for composing using the selected sounds for this compo. You most download the *SOUND PACK* to compose your own song.
YOU MAY NOT ADD ANY OUTSIDE SOUNDS, but extreme levels of manipulation are encouraged.
3. TRACK SUBMISSIONS
When you have your OWNS SONG, with the used sounds from the sample pack, you must submit your OWN SONG (1). You just can submit 1 song.
Track submissions must be an MP3 of 4.5mb in size or smaller. NO COVERS ALLOWED!!!
Any submissions with ID3v2 tags will be rejected.
Any content released by a Playa to BotB becomes copyleft and public domain. It is imperative that a Playa has the right to declare their releases to BotB as copyleft and/or public domain.
4. TIME TO VOTE
Then, when the TRACK SUBMISSION end will be time to vote. YOU must listen every single track of the others PLAYAS and vote 1 to 7 in all the categories.
5. RESULTS
That's it!, we have now all the track, all the votes, and all the playas waiting for the results, so... who's the winner?, who cares?... XD.
6. PARTY TIME!!!

What's DETROIT?
Detroit is a remix composition competition, what this mean?, easy... You have 48 hours to make a song with the SAMPLE PACK, this sample pack will be able to download when the countdown of the sound submission end. Then all the user who want participate in this special competition. After the competition and the results, Battle of the Bits will have a party in in some place...
What's a *Sample pack*:
Is a pack of sounds and samples, this is provided to the users to make a song for this competition. This pack must be used for every user who want to be in the competition.
I need to upload a sound/sample?
No, you don't to upload any sample if you don't want.
I need to vote for every sound/sample?
No, you don't need to, but the more votes the sample/sound get, the more chances it has to be chosen. Because only sound/sample submissions with 10 votes or more are eligible.
Can i upload more than one (1) sample/sound?
YEAH!!!... of course you can.
How i upload a sound/sample?
Simple, you have to...
- Put the *TITLE*
- Make a short *DESCRIPTION*
- Select the *SOUND TYPE* among ONESHOT / LOOP / SERIES
- Select *SOUND MAKE-UP* among ORGANIC / SYNTHETIC / HYBRID
- Select *SAMPLE GENRES* among 8bit / clicks+pops / kicks / sound fx / ambiance / cymbals / mechanicals / strings / animals / drumz / nature / vehicles / appliances / ethnic / pads / voices / bass / horns / percussion / woodwinds / circuit bends / keys / snares
