.SPC is the SNES's sound format. The name SPC refers to the Sony SPC-700, the SNES's sound processing chip. The system is capable of 8 channels of sampled sound, with an echo effect which can be added to channels. You have the ability to specify 8 FIR filter coefficients on the echo.
