hi there! re: your post here: i appreciate the offer! i keep the scope of my little SNES sample rip list to stuff i've personally done (with a couple exceptions from early on that i'll eventually replace), so i'll probably only list them once i've gotten to that game - it is actually on my to-rip list already, so once i start hosting weekly battles again in 2025, i'll get to it sometime soon! keep yer eyes peeled.

quick word of advice: if you cannot give an entry its due time, you should not enter a battle. entering a battle without respecting the nature of it spits in the face of this site's rules and community and can manifest in many ways, including submitting a slapdash effort without any effort to properly participate within the battle. i realize you are new to the site, so i am making this comment just so you know for battles in the future

. I’d say use the latter as it’s easier to connect, but to each their own. From the second link, just choose a username and click connect! You can send messages and people should respond! It’s even linked to the Discord so people on there can see your messages and send them back through BOTBD.

re: 218608 I just used the sample loop and timed the length of the loop to the beat! though it would probably be easier to just make a second sample using only that ending slice.

Now that's a cool technique. loop point change + release macro. I'm gonna have to keep that in mind for the future

it looks like -M is the command-line flag that adds loop points to the wavs. the included help documentation if you run it in the terminal explains that flag as "Add file header for addmusicM (i.e. export loop-point)."

there's also a -L flag that adds the loop point info to the filenames apparently, which I didn't know until now and haven't tried but is worth mentioning

(replying to your comment in the "What is going on in your life" thread) Fellow Christian on Botb here. It gets really difficult to follow Jesus with every part of yourself, especially with the world around you, but you have to take a step back and wonder why you do it? Why does it make sense to you? And if not God, then what? That's really been a big battle for me as well, but if you stay in prayer and around friends who you think are good role models, you will become even stronger in your faith. I'll keep you in my prayers, Flarf, stay strong :)

thanks for the heads up about the BT+DD rip. can you tell me the names of some of the tracks that have the missing sounds in them? I'll try ripping once more normally to double check, but if they don't get pulled by split700 for whatever reason, I have to do them manually song-by-song with chipsynth SFC's brr grabber
