Now exactly what can you upload for sampling and what cant you upload?

Like could i use a synth and tweak it out a little bit and upload it?

Can i take a clip from a porno and upload it?

Drum loops from any random site?

Movie qoutes?

Instrument loops?

LittleMack - we want no problems with any form of authority... so nothing that already holds copyright - synth is great - porno is great if you made it yourself - drum loops from another site is gay (you can make your own, i know you can) - movie samples are right out - instrument loops are great if you recorded them

question: can you do whatever you like with the samples in the samplepack? use whatever fx you wish to alter them? like say... routing them trough a input on another synth?

Yes... completely

The only rule is you cannot add outside sound.


The first year a contestant took the sample pack, recorded it to cassette tape and then took a razor and cut up the sounds into randomness. Placed the pieces back onto cassette and from their back to a digital format.

He won in the experimental category.

So basicly the sky is the limit.

yeah -- i do some ridiculous things -- like taking any random sample and chopping it down to a single waveform tuned to C and saturating original harmonic work with effects... i think i'm gonna try being more sample-trigger happy this time around... we'll see!!
