deleting spam posts is complicated because it cascades into several objects

delete post => delete all haits and lieks; undo points

delete thread => delete all posts

When a spambot comes on BotB I currently only have a little script to deal with it. I actually just added a little to it. It deletes any threads where the spammer has the only post, and it deletes any posts by the spammer at the end of a thread. So anyone replying to the spambot has made the spambot's posts unaffected. I don't have time today to dig in the db and sort the mess. :P

Maybe they can post in the n00b forum? Also, maybe as early as level 1 which is only 25 points. A spambot could then only get that many points if 24 people liekd or haitd their posts.

don't forget playa points though. in the past we've had spambots that have logged in consistently day after day...

how about n00b forum requires one of those human checkers until level 3? n00bs should still be able to talk if they are broke.
