Try posting that verbatim to ANY thread on BotB (including this one), and the save button will hang on “saving”.

after doing a little testing with the contents of that message, the part that seems to cause it to hang is

according to kot, it'd seem like "any songs that hav been annoyingly stuck in ur head recently?" will also generate the error that won't let you post, and the same happens if you just remove the ?, or try to have anything after "head". seems to produce a 418 teapot error?

the issue seems to be with jquery, line 4 column 10145, 13967 and 16793 respectively. thisin turn also makes the firki interpreter on posts fail and not pop up when it's used.

hey! looks like it was just another pain of moving from the .org to the .com -- I had to disable additional security in the dreamhost panel.

seems like a very certain combination of characters plus a newline at the end of the string would trigger the 418 error
