HATCH PATCH
Last month I worked on a tool for Tool Jam 3 - a jam where you make tools to help you with things (like building tools!)
I have a bunch of VSTs because I am very susceptible to marketing and they're all scary because I only touch a few at a time, so I wrote a tool to enforce sound design and exploration of these synths so I can build a few muscles at a time.
Create a patch and select a few settings, and the tool will generate a selection of adjectives, color, patch types, and pick a synth for you to work on. You can even upload the patch data from your synth (VST fx setting, custom VST internal save data, MIDI SYSEX, etc.) All the data is stored in your browser so you can pick it back up whenever!
The tool is written in Blazor/Web Assembly and a bit rough, but usable! It may not work on your browser/machine. I think the operation is relatively self explanatory but I can also write a guide if people think that's appropriate!
I'd love any suggestions/bug reports/etc. etc. if you have them!
Also change log thang:
v0: initial jam
v0.1: In-line Settings Editing + some table filtering (full log here)
