Dreamhost has made PHP v8.1 available. Instead of waiting until the upgrade is forced I went ahead and took care of it. If any pages aren't loading or you're finding any errors please post URLs of those pages here.

uh.... the upgrade looked fine and then a few hours later some things started going really bad... so I've rolled the site back to php 7.4
there's a chance the entries submitted during this 8.1 time were not saved and that new botbrs might be missing data... i'll be around throughout the day to try and rectify whatever went awry

Im from Ukraine. Why my country shows as Unknown? I Know that Russians tryed to genocide our people. But we still fighting for our freedom. This war can be 5 years. And I must wait until it end?

site is currently borked , please have a little patience... you are able to set your location manually from the edit profile menu (which is currently inaccessible)

it doesn't have anything to do with the ongoing conflict , although it is very deeply saddening and my heart goes out to you all. Whatever was being used to automatically set your location based on ip was a little wonky, and everyone was showing up as "Unknown".

cool would be if we could have regional and independentist flags as well - for example, a basque would prefer a basque flag instead of spanish, as catalonian and galician would do as well, and so on... :) - and for sure, @pedipanol would prefer minas gerais flag, not brazilian! ;)

I agree with nitrofurano. This is unusual. I'm being redirected to this very page via the same URL. It also means that other than remembering URLs I'm not sure how to edit my profile or beghasts battles in this state.
