as of today, i'm announcing my semi-retirement from battle of the bits to focus on my career as a producer/job as a park worker. from now on, most entries from me will be entered in majors only, with a scant ohb here and now. i've been contemplating this decision for a good 4 months now, and i feel like now that my life has changed drastically, it's time for me to travel on the road of life.
keep in mind that i will visit the site and participate in battles. this isn't some permanent goodbye from me to you guys; it's more of me taking a step back from active battling. i've been juggling a career at the county parks, the development of my second extended play album, and my burgeoning interests in art all this year, and i feel like there isn't any dedicated room for botb anymore in my schedule.
i will also say that events surrounding certain individuals (those not named here for brevity's sake) has soured my view on the site a good bit. i don't want to turn this thread into discussion on that matter, as all of that can be discussed in dm's; however, it wouldn't be entirely honest if i just said that real-life events has pulled me away from botb. i have to give the full story in some way. if you want more details, please dm me on discord; i'll still be in cave dingle, so don't worry about rushing.
