i did a quick googling in the last hour and it doesnt seem like there are any old defle versions archived somewhere online. i know some of you have been tracking in defle for several years now and maybe still have an old version on their hard drive somewhere.
or maybe there is an archive of old versions somewhere and im just too dumb to find it??

if not, it would be awesome if we could share old versions in this thread (by linking a google drive zip or whatever maybe). im sure at least some of the older versions still exist on peoples computers!

fyi i have found a version of v7f on my hard drive, and thru Special Means a v11 version - i'll zip them up and put them somewhere after mt32

I have three Mac versions from 2015-2016. Unfortunately, I don't think they're Catalina-compatible. I'll have to double check in my backups for anything older than that.

I acquired the last legacy version for the sake of at least having some kind of playability, but I'm otherwise not interested in it. I myself only ever released one entry.

Maybe that Deflemask battle from 2012 having only three entries was a bad omen (that's still a record low in entries for a major)...

i was actually thinking of hosting them (together with rare stuff like fsound, panda etc) on my server,, but having it saved on botb directly would be a lot better

OK, I have identified my versions by using archive.org to look at the version identification from the website from around the time I downloaded them. I have 9s, 10c and 0.12.0. All three to my knowledge are not Catalina compatible.

i would upload them anyway if they're for mac, people who run older mac builds/can hackintosh can probably run these versions and they might appreciate not being forced to use a VM or an unstable wine

yeah, it was only those three folders that didn't have an executable. the others were mostly fine

I believe somewhere on the deflemask forum, Sky Yoshi uploaded a coppy of one of the betas of 0.12.0, hope the dropbox link is still up. edit, I checked and the link is not valid anymore, it not even on internet archive.

When I sent in my files, I took the original .zip files that I saved to avoid leftovers from the directories being modified over time due to any experimentation that I did, thus replicating a de facto clean copy.

@raphaelgoulart no idea about Linux, just repeating something I read on Discord.

I'm kinda confused though, like looking up the deflemask page I can't even find a way to buy the paid version. Like it's mentioned and everything but that's it, maybe I'm stupid 😅.
