here are some RULES AND SH!Z from last year bcuz im lazy:

- S3XMODITMANIA is a tournament-style compo where each week competitors write a module (.it, .xm, .s3m, .mod) in 5 days [barring the entry round].
- You may only use samples from the pack provided for each round.
- The last two days of each week are reserved for voting. We're using s3m.it again, so your votes should be sent directly to me, ordered from best to worst. You can either do it by discord DM or send them by e-mail to s3x5samps@gmail.com with CLEAR INDICATION of who you are [basically i need to know what name you submitted your song under if you entered, if it's not already obvious].
- A percentage of contestants who have the lowest scores for each round will be eliminated. There may or may not be a ghost round (for now, assume there will not be one).
- The remaining competitors will compete in the following round, and this will repeat until there is One Left Standing, who shall receive a fantastic trophy handed down through the generations!

for SAMPLE SUBMISSIONS:
you can either send them to me on discord (sincx#9611) or email them to the same address as last year (s3x5samps@gmail.com). you can submit at any time!!

yeah i think itll be a fun change!! where ppl have a month to just enter whenever instead of a month to sign their name and then forget they signed up a month later or get busy a month later or lose interest a month later or xxxxxxxxx

yeah i kinda feared that a bit but then again ppl forgot about their signups too

(lol if this totally bombs then i can always just restart from scratch, call the entry round a "bonus" and give ppl a free pass thru a round or something. would hate to be anticlimactic)

also i should note idk if ppl just Forgot or if i wasnt clear enough or w/e but only one person has sent in samples so far!!! this works the same way as all the past manias so please send in samps!! (the details are in the op)
