ShroomTool is a tool to rip out music data (*.SHO) from '[l[http://www.zsnes.com[ZSNES] save state (*.ZST) files.  It is also capable of making custom sample/instrument set files (*.SHI) to inject into '[[MarioPaint (format)].  The tool was created as a joint effort between '[l[http://battleofthebits.com/barracks/Profile/setrodox/[setrodox] and '[l[http://battleofthebits.com/barracks/Profile/Strobe/[Strobe].

This tool is no longer developed as the authors have moved onto other projects.
