thinking about winter chip vs summer chip customs, i'd say aym is more suited to winter chip and msx+ suited to summer chip, since the latter usually includes a lot more fuller stuff (such as nsf+). we definitely need a bit of that though for sure...

slide notes with the c700 vst are hard to do, buuut... it is doable. Here's how to do it in fl studio

step 1:
donload bendy vst: https://blog.wonthelp.info/2021/12/03/bendy-an-fl-studio-plugin-for-using-piano-roll-bends-panning-etc-in-third-party-vst-plugins/

it allows you to do slide notes and you can map its midi ccs

step 2 (optional):
donload brso articulate: https://www.syntheticorchestra.com/tools/articulate/

mapping its articulations to program changes allows you to make drumkits more easily

step 3:
open FL studio and assign the c700 vst a midi input (I always use 2)

step 4:
import your instruments to c700

step 5:
make copies of bendy vst or BRSO articulate for each channel on c700. Make sure the midi channels are assigned correctly

step 6:
set pitch bend range

step 7:
profit

edit:

pitch bending takes up A LOT of space so be sure to export to .smc instead of .spc
