I always remember 7 x 8 is 56 because that's a gag in the mexican sitcom El Chavo Del Ocho during a schoolroom scene.

Just yesterday on this site I saw the Playa by the name of 56. Their avatar is also 56.
Now I realize this probably means something.

It might be partially due to the advent of the 67 meme, but I feel like I keep stumbling across the number 56 in passing more frequently than before. Don't have a concrete example to cite but I feel like it's happened a handful of times this month alone.
