Collab opportunity for Spring Tracks; considerably less involved than previous efforts I've organized. In short, my melody-writing is often junk. I don't play anything that I can use for live input and so my keyboard lines feel just so...uninspired — the same stuff over and over. That's where you (may) come in. I have a Sunvox wip going and the vibe feels great, but I need some help creating fun lines to go along with it.

Worth noting, I'm seeing this as a "your turn" kind of collaboration, meaning multiple folks can tag in to do a couple bars or a long section!

I provide...
*a Sunvox file with a groove and progression it

You provide...
*your solo lead, generally as long as you'd like to play
*(if preferred) the sample or synth you'd like it to be played through
*(if really preferred) any added modules or details on how you would like it mixed

Admittedly, there's a degree of experimentation to this: I have no clue if Sunvox is amenable to easy live input and how much preemptive setup is required. That said, if anyone is willing to try, reach out here with how you'd like to chat about it or touch base on Discord. Thank ya!

if you're okay with doing a Big Honkin' Sample, I'd have fun taking a piano or synth solo, but if it needs to be sequenced/tracked I'm not 100% sure, not familiar enough with sunvox to know whether that can be done easily.

I'm already piqued by the capitalization-demanding Big Honkin' Sample haha. It shouldn't impact the program or module in any way so I'm down! I'll send over a loop today or latest tomorrow. Still want to make sure the progression is locked in and I want to offer a B progression to vary the leads a bit.

sunvox will work for live midi input as long as you have an audio interface and cpu good enough to crank the latency very low.
