tongue-in-cheek title aside, this post is a message from the admin team about a change in policy - we are disallowing public accounts, such as the infamous Public Toilet, whose login info is freely accessible and usable by the general botb public.

the reasons for this are pretty simple actually - they are difficult to moderate and ripe with potential for abuse - and crucially that potential has been taken advantage of many times, be it through bad hosting practice when folks were using it to host, through ailment/ban evasion, or through "scrublike" entries which break the rules.

so, for the good of the realm (and our sanity as a moderation team) we are banning these accounts and will do the same towards any new account which reveals its login info in the future. thank you for understanding!

i support PT being mummid, but ill haeit the thread anyway because its sad that a part of silly botb culture from when i joined is now fully locked up.
