Retired from BotB due to a lot of factors; I've just mainly grown out of this site. This was my home for a bunch of years, helped me recover from a particularly toxic community, and gave me a place to develop my creative skills. It also introduced me to a few people who harassed me on and off the site, was the last remnant of a toxic relationship I was in, and made me face my own bad tendencies because of that. I'm much more thankful for that last thing, because I don't think I'd be as mature or level headed without BotB, and that's saying something.
In either case, I think it's time for me to pack my bags. I'm okay with winning 2 majors and mastering the ANSI format. My sights are set on some more ambitious and time-consuming than this, and I'll be focusing on that for the time being. Some thanks before I depart:
End: Thank you for introducing me to VTubing; I'm WAY happier doing that over this. You were, are, and always will be a big inspiration in what I do. It's going to be so amazing when I'm finally free enough to get back to hanging out with you and the rest!
Moxie: You're also to thank for the above as, without you, I wouldn't have met Birch, one of my absolute besties, and been encouraged to go on this journey I'm on right now. Cheers to your further success on this site!
OPM: You were literally my closest and only confidant for years, and I can't thank you enough for being my shoulder to lean on. Love your music and your company equally! Here's hoping we can play games together sometime, you bird-brained maniac!!
Sean, Tog, Fortuna, Webri: Winter Chip Fighter XX was the most fun I had on a project. Thank y'all for being there with me on that project; it was our win at the end of the day, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm gonna celebrate the day any one of you get [another] ANSI gold!
Hanna: Your wisdom and guiding words helped me become way more mature than I was going into this site again. I'm always looking forward to the next conversation we have.
Nicole, SnugglyBun: By the end of my run on here, I've grown to really enjoy your presences a lot. Honestly, life is gonna be a bit more empty without you two.
Spring: You may not visit this site anymore or even want to remember it, but your spirit still rings true in me, now and forever. Thank you for instilling the love for drawing friends into me! I hope you're much happier where you are right now.
To the rest of you, no matter if we've beefed in the past or not, thanks for making this site the hub for creativity and development it is today. Your efforts have welcomed artists, musicians, coders, and writers of all kinds. I wish you all the best in your endeavors, creative or otherwise. A word of advice to you all as well, though: don't burn yourselves out. Don't see BotB as an obligation or a duty you have to oblige. See the site as you would something like Palia or Webfishing: a place for like-minded people to get together and enjoy their presences while sharing their talents. Respect your fellow BotBrs and they might just show you the world someday.
As for me, aside from this final revision to the bio, I'll be taking my leave. The links below should go to where I'm most active nowadays and will probably be the only update from me from now on. It's time I said adiós, さよなら, and...
SO LONG, BOTB!
