sysops should have the ability to edit a whitelist for submitable format types per submission format.

been a few mp3s submitted as hardware/emulator loading binaries lately. :(

also the elephant in the room is GB format allowing mp3. since there are more than enough ways now to make GB music MP3 isn't a good format type. ;P (proposed whitelist: SAV, GBS, GB, GBC)

I understand the concerns, but I completely disagree with this when it comes to GB. People who are using LSDj on their Game Boy usually don't have a cart reader to extract a SAV from and recording from the console is much friendlier.

For any other format? Sure, but not GB. I don't think it's fair on those using hardware trackers without the means to get emulated formats from.

Most people I know with LSDj have a cart reader and/or use an emulator. No other way to really put custom samples on.

Plus if they can't really submit as GB formats they can submit as Wildchip.

I am a paradox. I own a gameboy and an LSDJ cart. I do not own a cart reader. You can submit your butt-sounding custom GB samples as Wildchip.
