i had a thought that maybe there could be some kind of point bonus for a botbr when they vote on all entries (besides their own) in a battle. At first I was thinking a criticist match, but I believe that would create too many criticists. Example: botbr votes 300 entries in a battle and gets 300 additional criticist points.

I was thinking maybe it'd be better if the bonus was half. But then I wondered if the bonus should be Playa points.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I only have vote records for the past 3 years so I don't think there will be retro pay for the past. Definitely would include WCX tho! <3

What about a special "judge badge" or "judge counter" displayed on the profile page? Or is it too much work?

Don't people who vote on more entries have higher influence anyway? Or am I remembering that incorrectly?

Although 100% completion does take a lot of time...

Completionist points

I think having the bonus be in criticist points makes the most sense, but the reduced amount seems better than a full bonus. Maybe 1/2 is even too high, any bonus at all would still be more than people are getting currently. Even if it were around 1/4, a roughly 75 point bonus is still quite a lot.

1/4 criticist points sounds about... on point. though this might encourage noobs to vote on their alt accounts' entries and/or crap voting.

Voting takes a lot of time, even if people would try to do so on several accounts (if we're talking about voting on everything/ a big part of the entries) .

Don't know how the influence works. Yesterday I had 25, today I have 8 and still the same amount of b00ns.

bonus should be 1/4 or 1/2 criticist pts (i dont think 1/2 is much considering you must have a lot of patience to vote on everything decently)
A L S O there should be an alt/collab acc identifier because people wouldnt gain such a bonus unless they vote on their own stuff - which is not allowed

completist is sorta pointless because if theyre gonna receive ~less~ than what they vote there'll never be a lvl x completist

i was going to comment that it would discourage collaborating but raphael's idea is pretty great!
so yeah, voter bonuses would be great if the said alt/collab account identifier is programmed too, imho.

i don't see a problem with it being criticist points. it's hard for people to complete all voting and those that can vote on everything are critiquing works so should be getting the bonus points.

maybe get bonus points for 90% or more? i mean then you can still collab and voting 90% of a compo is still pretty good wow

though obviously more bonus points if you vote on 100% (maybe 1/2 of the entries points for 100% and 1/4 of the entries points for 90% or more)

I went for voting 100%, but forgot a whole format :((( Realizing that 3 minutes before the votes closed (too focussed to do the math a little earlier). I tell you: it feels like a failing stream in front of 20+ people and/or participating in a channelf OHB. I flailed :'-(

i am ok with this, in fact i was a little disappointed when i voted on everything in wcx and there wasn't a bonus (even a little "YOU DID IT" kinda message would be neat)

i like the idea of encouraging voting. voters are as imporant as the musicians for these compos to work.

though i definitely think the number of bonus points awarded should be affected by the number of entries. it doesn't seem fair to me that the same number of points would be awarded for completing voting on wcX as on detroit X or drill and bass.

i also like the idea of making a more unique reward, maybe in addition to a point bonus, like a trophy or something, as kfaraday suggested.

on the topic of completionism, i maintain that "completionist" should be used to refer to botbrs who enter all categories
