S98 Input

and S98amp

are respectively foobar2000 and winamp plugins for playback of .S98 files. Both use fmgen

for sound generation.

How to use

---

S98 Input

1 - Download S98 Input

and extract it to [foobar installation folder]\components\ (then restart foobar).
2 - Download OPNA Rhythm Sound Source samples

and extract it somewhere.
3 - Start foobar, go to File->Preferences->Playback->Decoding->S98 input.
4 - Set sample rate to 55467 Hz.
5 - Set rhythm path to the folder where you extracted the rhythm samples.
6 - Set YM2203/2608 Volume to the PC-9801 preset.

s98amp

1 - Download S98amp

and extract it to [Winamp's installation folder]\Plugins\ .
2 - Download OPNA Rhythm Sound Source samples

and extract it somewhere.
3 - Options->Preferences->Plugins->Input, click S98amp v1.3.1+ then Configure below.
4 - Set Frequency to 55467 Hz
5 - Set Rhythm Folder to the one you extracted the rhythm samples.
