@nitrofurano you don't have to use the GEMS tools ifnyou don't want, just the sounds from it.

If you do want to getnit working, you need an old-ass modified version of DosBox and and old-ass emulator. So good luck.

Edited comment above -- discussing further with the admins, we decided that extended channel 3 should not be used for this battle. This is because we can use that mode to play individual operators which effectively can sound like playing a different patch. Sorry for the change on that.

Also @retrokid - there's no need to download the GEMS program itself if you don't want, the bitpack under Info & Rules contains the patches in .tfi format, and preloaded modules to check them out.

Apologies for the super loud noise floor on my track -- that's my own fault for making everything at low volume in an attempt to get more headroom for the mix -- which works great in emulation, but now I realize not so well with real hardware... Lesson learned!

@agargara I actually thought it sounded really cool with the ladder distortion! Definitely worth the noise, IMO - that's why I had to bust out the Model 1 for that track specifically.
