Had I thought of it, I would have considered doing a Game Boy entry using a native Game Boy tracker. I would have uploaded my save file, stated the requirements to use the file, and then rendered an .mp3 of it. ^_^ However, six is good enough for me, as it was disastrous when I attempted a whole bunch with Sample Pack Compo 6.

Yeah, that might be interesting. You could manipulate voting habits through taxes. Deposit 20% of your boons to enter major, recovered when you vote every entry. For non-entrant maybe a smaller deposit (or maybe a bonus, i.e. boonus, just for voting). Maybe you only get half of them back if your votes don't have a wide enough standard deviation too! The act of computing a standard deviation would also help auto-detect troll voters too.

I know people are sad about how they didn't get any medals, or even any tincans. To those people I say worry not - what matters is that you have contributed to one of the best chiptune competitions of the year!! As long as you keep practising (such as in BotB's many OHBs) you will only get better, and you'll soon do better than you did in this competition!!

I want to see all of you and more in Summer Chip ]I[ (assuming there is one), and I want to see you all doing better than this time!! 6 months is a very long time to improve in, and I just know you will!! Just believe in yourself!!
