I've been fiddling with Vortex Tracker II now for a few hours. I managed to make instruments and a couple patterns from scratch. But I've been stuck on the export process. I can export all kinds of files but have not managed to get them to play back in either xmplay or winamp with their respective plugins. :(

hello, i choose to "export with zx spectrum player" (or smoething like that, its on the file menu) and choose the hobeta player, and choose .ay

i recommend http://bulba.untergrund.net/emulator_e.htm for playing/listening to zx spectrum music though, i have never tried to play them in xmplay or winamp, maybe the plugins are broken? what kind of files do they expect?

it was exported from vortex tracker 2 using the hobeta player and it works fine in sergei bulba's AY_Emul... does it work in winamp/xmplay? if not i assume it must be those plugins that are broken?
