i wld like to discuss this.
if someone votes 100% on a major, they get some additional playa points. but thats it...
one time reward, and then your big commitment is basically off the tabel again.
sure, you know how many hours you spent listening to all the entries, writing all the comments and tags, etc

but theres no way for others to know.

the hall of completionists in the lyceum shows the botbrs who submitted to every format. its easy to keep up to date because the data is public.

a similar "hall of voting completionists" would be so cool to have, but the major battle voting data isnt public.

i am not requesting major voting data to be public - but wldnt it be cool if after tally - and with a certain amount of entries in a battle (more than 100?), a new tab next to "Info & Rules" and "x Entries" and "Comments" shows up, that says "Voters", and it shows... either *only* those with a % of 100... or maybe the top list of everyone who voted at least ... 75%? maybe...?

im just dropping this idea here, because to me it wld be a big extra motivator to show up on a list, that you can check even years after the battle ended. and for those who participated i think its also cool to see who checks their stuff.

downsides cld be:
- people vote lazily only to show up on the list
-> lazy/troll voting is already happening sometimes and admins catch it and ail it. and people cld already feel motivated to vote lazily simply to get more points. a new page that just gives stats, instead of points, doesnt promote lazyvoting imo

- the people who vote on (almost) everything have a higher INF so their votes will have the bigger impact on results. if only one or two botbrs are on the list, people cld think that this small group alone is responsible for the outcome
-> i think this is a valid concern, but you can already tell by average amount of comments and favs by a botbr on a battle, who voted a lot. criticists often like to give feedback too ;) and most people share their 100% progress in chats anyway most of the time.

adding to the "voting lazily to show up on the list" point: when aiming for entry completionism most people don't submit illegal/extremely low effort entries to get there since they already know that they'll get scrubbed if they do. i think this would be the same sort of thing so it's not really a concern

maybe these stats could also appear on a botbr's profile tho idk what the button for it would be called but you could see the majors they fully voted. however maybe that'd be a bit more work to implement compared to the button on the battle page

also. show everyone who voted at least 56% lol

The only shame here would be BotBrs who've submitted with alts being locked out of voting completionist recognition, but I understand why account linking is a fraught exercise so I guess us alters might just have to take it on the chin.

Down for this. I think the people who'd make it to/close to 100% would be well known good faith botbers. If someone random shows up maybe there's a quick way for admins to scan their votes to see if it's spam voting but I bet this would be rare.

Ok that's what I get for skimming a post; you're right, you did address it. I think even a 95% threshold would be sufficient for almost every major. Who's submitting with an alt to a major with less than 20 entries total?

@roz vote completion of a 20 entry battl, a 75 entry battl, and a 500 entry battle should not be treated the same tbh
