Was just reminiscing on the recent Lunar Magic major, and it got me thinking; we have three entries in the battle that include original music (in two cases, multiple tracks). Is there any realistic method by which the individual tracks could be listenable from botb/botb radio directly?

I was thinking that having an additional mp3 upload option, for certain formats that could in theory have original music (Lunar Magic, GB Studio, Pico8, HTML5 etc) could allow botbrs to upload their cool tunes for our listening pleasure, if they so desired.

I don't think it would be too difficult to implement, which is one of the reasons I'm suggesting it as an idea to consider.

I'm curious as to the thoughts of others. For soundtracks/multiple tunes, I was gonna suggest the simple option, of having every track be contained on the same mp3 upload. Mostly because I can see anything else being a bit time consuming to implement, and I generally don't wanna bug puke lol.

i like the idea but i think that a mappist format comprises of more than just the original music imo - i would sooner argue for a small (under 5-10mb) mp4 video embed that works more like a "preview" or "trailer" of sorts. it'd require potentially some editing finesse but i think considering you'd need to play these in full anyway (rather than just using a png or mp3 render) that's fine

let's not turn this into a thread where asking for a cookie turns into asking for the whole package.
