it's called "KiraStudio", strongly resembles FamiStudio in layout, and seems to be focused on a "fakebit-like" or, maybe more accurately, "wildchip" approach with retro sounds that can be given effect stacks and automation. maybe something like the scope of modern beepbox forks, just in a different package? I dunno, it looks pretty appealing though at any rate.

if and when this program gets to a comfortable stable point in the future, and doesn't rely on files external to its project files, it has the potential to be a cool format here on the B O T B
